Home Is Where The Bind Comes Off.

Hi everyone and anyone reading,
I'm new to the 'blogging world' and I'm gonna talk about binding and what I have been through with binding.
I'm Drake and I'm a 15 year old transgender male from Florida and now live in Austin Texas.


For the people that don't know binding is a important part of being a trans guy.
Some people bind with duct tape some, people bind with ace bandage, binds off Amazon, eBay, and other places online that sell binds. The point of binding is to make your breast smaller like someone that was born male.

NEVER BIND WITH TAPE OR ACE BANDAGES! Binding with tape can give you breathing problems it can cause broken ribs. Ace bandages are no better. With ace you cant bind tight, it does not look right I have had people point it out to me so its not good. You may have breathing problems it can cause problems with your ribs too. Duct tape and ace don't move with your body and can cause physical harm. Most that have bind with duct tape or ace have scars from it I'LL BUY YOU A BIND BEFORE YOU USE TAPE OR ACE!

When looking for a bind you don't want a bind too small. Most of the time they have a sizing chart so you know what size to get. You're gonna want to give your body a break at some point don't wear your bind 24/7 to not hurt yourself don't wear your bind more then 8-12 hours a day (I'm terrible at that though). Binding can be dangerous but it's worth it. Just remember that home is where the bind comes off. My girlfriend hates it when I where two binds at once no mater how much I want to, shes right wearing to binds can be really bad for you. If you wear two at once on a hot day it can cause physical harm to yourself and no one wants that.

My experience with binding has not been the best. At the age of 11 I was binding with duct tape, the age of 13 my mother went into a convenient store and got me a ace bandage looked at me angrily and said "here" and threw it to me. I was binding with ace until I was 14 almost 15 my aunt got me a bind. I'm awful at taking it off and am always asking "do I look straight" (meaning do I look like I have a male chest) to people that know. People don't understand how hard it is if I had a choose I'd be just a normal girl or boy it would be easier.
